Black bean sauce, beef and peppers can make a really wonderful and easy weeknight meal the flavour from the black beans is so intense it gives this dish that salty umami filled characteristic. Chinese call it Douchi, Filipinos call it tausi but most of us just call it salted black beans or fermented black beans.
