Beach's Special Creamy Cheese Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt or possibly pwdr 1 c. lowfat milk

12 ounce. American processed cheese (Velveeta), cubed 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1 sm. jar sliced mushrooms (optional)

Directions

1. Heat butter in small saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour and garlic salt. Add in lowfat milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till mix thickens. Add in cubed cheese and stir till melted. Add in Parmesan cheese and mushrooms, stirring till blended for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and serve over cooked pasta for meal. Variation: Serve without mushrooms over tortilla chips for snack.
