Ingredients

  • 3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - (12 ounce)
  • 1 ct chive-and-onion flavored cream c (8 ounce), softened
  • 1 jar diced pimiento - (4 ounce) liquid removed
  • 1/2 c. minced pecans toasted
  • 24 whl wheat or possibly pumpernickel bread slices

Directions

  1. Stir together first 4 ingredients Using a 3- to 4-inch bat-shaped cutter, cut 2 bats from each bread slice.
  2. Spread about 2 Tbsp. filling over 24 bats. Top with remaining 24 bats.
  3. This recipe yields 24 sandwiches.
