Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1/3 c. ketchup
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy or possibly Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Mix sausage, egg, bread crumbs and sage. Shape into 2 dozen 1 1/2 inch balls. Brown in ungreased skillet for 15 min (pour excess fat off). Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat and cover. Simmer for 30 min.
