Ingredients
- 1 pound "Carolina" rice
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 1 c. sugar or possibly add in more or possibly less to taste
- 1 lg. pkg. Jello instant pudding
- Vanilla to taste
- Raisins (optional)
Directions
- Boil rice in directed amount of water till almost tender. Can leave some water in. Turn to simmer. Then add in butter, can lowfat milk, lowfat milk, sugar and simmer 2 hrs. Remove from heat. Stir in dry pudding mix and vanilla. Add in raisins. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
