Directions

  1. Prepare vanilla custard mix with egg yolks, sugar, lowfat milk and vanilla bean according to directions for vanilla tango gelato, above. Allow mix to cold to room temperature. In a food processor or possibly blender, puree bananas with lime juice till smooth. Gradually add vanilla custard mix. Blend till incorporated. Freeze in an ice cream maker following the manufacturer's guidelines.
