Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 1/4 c. Flour
  • 3/4 tsp Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Minced nuts Whipped cream or possibly whipped topping

Directions

  1. Cream shortening & add in sugar. Add in Large eggs, beating well after each. Stir in bananas. Add in dry ingredients & then nuts. Pour into greased & floured 8x8x2-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min. Cut into squares & serve hot or possibly cool. Put whipped topping on top when served.
  2. Yields 9-12 servings.
