  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease cookie sheets. In a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter till fluffy. Gradually add in the sugar; beat till light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, molasses and banana. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
  2. Gradually add in the flour mix to the butter mix; beat till thoroughly blended. Stir in the minced nuts.
  3. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 min, or possibly till the center of the cookies spring back when lightly touched. Remove to wire racks to cold
