Baked Turkey Meatballs Recipe

I don't really care for pan fried meatballs. When I started eating healthier I started making my own meatballs with ground turkey and baking them. I have had success freezing these as well. Great to add to Sweet and Sour or BBQ sauce for a party or your favorite spaghetti sauce for dinner over spaghetti squash.

Directions

  1. Cover baking sheet with tin foil and spray lightly with cooking spray. I use olive oil spray or canola oil.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, best to mix gently with your hands to completely combined. Do not over mix.
  3. Scoop into small 1” meatballs, I find this best with 1tbsp scoop or rounded measuring spoon 1 tbsp size. Roll them with your hands to form. Place on baking sheet. You should get 30-35 meatballs depending on size of turkey package.
  4. Spray meatballs with cooking spray. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Remove promptly from pan so they do not stick to foil. (While cooking they will release some juices).
