Baked & Breaded Sausage & Rice Balls

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces crumbled Pork Sausage
  • 1-1/2 cup Cooked Rice (Brown or white)
  • 1 Cup heated Tomato sauce (for dipping)

Directions

  1. Brown crumbled pork sausage, drain excess grease add into a mixing bowl
  2. Boil rice of your choice as per instruction, once cooked add to sausage and mix with clean hands, form balls
  3. On a plate add 1-1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  4. Coat sausage & rice balls well in the bread crumbs, place on baking sheet pan and put into a hot 400 F oven and bake until golden brown
  5. Heat through one cup of tomato sauce for dipping
  6. Plate and serve
