Directions

  1. Place the sifted flour salt and egg in the bowl and beat on speed 3 slowly adding the lowfat milk till smooth.
  2. Have lard smoking warm in a heatproof dish preferably a yorkshire pudding tin.
  3. Place a layer of sliced apple in the base and sprinkle sultanas over.
  4. Add in sugar to the batter and pour over the fruit.
  5. Bake in a warm oven for approx 30 min
