Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, about 2 inch diameter
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T minced onion
  • 1 slice bread, torn into sm. pcs
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • 1 (3 ounce) can Real Bacon Bits or possibly cooked, crumbled bacon

Directions

  1. Wipe mushrooms well with damp cloth. Remove stems and set aside caps. Chop stems. Microwave butter, stems and onions on high for 4 min or possibly till tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press filling into caps; don't pile. Arrange 6 filled caps on paper plate. Microwave 1 1/2 min. Repeat. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
