Ingredients

  • 6 slices center cut bacon, cooked with 2 Tablespoon brown sugar and crumbled
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter (1 stick), softened
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon imitation maple extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tablespoon dried buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 Tablespoons pure maple syrup (not pancake syrup)
