Ingredients

  • 3 cans whole water chestnuts, liquid removed
  • 1 pound bacon, cut into thirds
  • 1 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

  1. Wrap bacon around chestnuts and secure with toothpicks. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 45 min. Drain.Put together sugar and catsup to make sauce. Pour over appetizers. Bake at 350 degrees covered for another 45 min.
  2. Can also be cooked in the microwave to save time.
