Directions

  1. Mix together sugar, chocolate squares, shortening, lowfat milk, salt and Karo syrup. Bring to a boil about a minute of hard boiling. Take from stove. Add in butter, vanilla and marshmallows. Stir to consistency to spread or possibly put in buttered pan for fudge or possibly serve directly from stove for hot fudge sauce.
