Aunt Alice's Curried Four Fruit Bake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 4 tsp curry pwdr
  • 16 ounce pear halves, canned maraschino cherries
  • 16 ounce peach halves, canned
  • 1 lrg Apple, sliced

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Heat margarine. Add in sugar and curry. Drain and dry fruit in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Add in margarine mix. Bake 1 hour. Serve hot from baking dish.
  3. Good with ham, lamb, chicken or possibly turkey. Flavor witll be even better if dish stands covered in refrigerator and the reheated.
