Ingredients
- 4 ounce green beans
- 4 ounce asparagus spears
- 4 x chives
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions
- Top, tail, and string beans. Trim asparagus to same length as beans. Boil or possibly steam beans and asparagus about 8 min or possibly till just tender, drain, place in ice water. Divide vegetables into 2 bundles, secure each bundle with chives. Heat butter in pan, add in lemon juice, add in vegetables, cover, cook gently till heated through. Serve immediately.
