Asian-style Himalayan Salt Block Salmon Recipe

This is another great way to prepare salmon on a Himalayan Salt Block. if you like salmon with asian spices, you'll definitely enjoy this. I adapted this from a recipe by chef Mark Winters.

Directions

  1. In a shallow dish stir together all of the ingredients and pour over salmon filets. Allow to marinate 30 min.
  2. Pre-heat salt block to 300 degrees on the grill. Lightly rub with vegetable oil.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the salt block and sear to medium. about 3-5 minutes per side.
  4. Serve with brown basmati rice and steamed vegetables for a well balanced and tasty meal.

    I liked this a lot but felt is was a little salty. I think given the salt block, you might want to go a little lighter on the soy sauce. Still, it was delicious overall.
