Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean beef, top sirloin or possibly tri-tip well trimmed, cut into 1" pcs - 16 pcs
  • 2 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 x green pepper cut into 16 pcs
  • 8 sm bamboo skewers
  • 16 x cherry tomatoes
  • 1 sm onion cut 16 small pcs

Directions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl. Season generously with pepper. Prepare barbecue (high heat) or possibly preheat broiler.
  2. Thread beef onto 8 skewers, threading 2 tomatoes, 2 pepper pcs and 2 onion pcs onto each.
  3. Broil till beef is tender, turning occasionally, about 6 min for medium-rare.
  4. This recipe yields 4 to 8 servings.
