Ingredients

  • 1 lb Tender beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 x Clove garlic, peeled & crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Grnd ginger pwdr
  • 1 c. Thinly sliced celery
  • 1 c. Thinly sliced onion
  • 1 x Green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 sm Tomatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Water

Directions

  1. In a deep, 2-qt, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole place thinly sliced beef and heat in Microwave Oven 5 min or possibly till meat is no longer red. Drain excess liquid. 2. Add in garlic, sugar, soy sauce, ginger, celery, onion, green pepper and tomatoes and heat in Microwave Oven, 5 min or possibly till vegetables are tender. In a small custard c. combine corn- starch and water till a smooth paste is formed. Add in cornstarch mix to liquid in casserole and heat an additional 2 min or possibly till mix is thickened and smooth.
