Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 250 gm Smoked back bacon de-rinded and cut into, (8oz) strips
  • 4 x Salad onions, diagonally sliced
  • 1 x Red pepper, de-seeded and sliced
  • 175 gm Beansprouts, (6oz)
  • 125 gm Mangetouts, (4oz)
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Wholegrain mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Clear honey Salt and freshly grnd pepper
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds

Directions

  1. 1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or possibly wok. Fry the bacon and salad onions for 4-5 min over a moderate heat,stirring occasionally.
  2. 2. Add in the remaining ingredients and stir fry for a further 4-5 min.
  3. Transfer to a warmed serving plate and serve immediately with rice or possibly noodles. As an alternative, for a firmer bite, use 2 bacon steaks cut into thin strips instead of the bacon rashers.
  4. All recipes can be made using standard, tender sweet or possibly Dry Cure bacon.
  5. NOTES : A delicious oriental stir fry, ideal served with egg noodles or possibly rice.
