Dave’s mum has moved to Sedgefield which is ‘around the corner’ from us as compared to Sandton where she was living. Even though the travelling time amounts to the same – 4 hours per car or 4 hours at the airport / flying / travelling to and from the airport, it is cheaper and easier for us to visit her in Sedgefield. The drive is fairly easy and we return to Mossel Bay after having lunch with Marguerite and stay at the Aqua Marina Guest House which is run by Noel and Alida Hudson. Noel is extremely friendly and chatty and Alida is fantastically helpful and accommodating.

%20decoder.%20This%20is%20great%20for%20us%20as%20we%20can%20watch%20the%20sport%20and%20read%20the%20news%20and%20sports%20news%20while%20we%20are%20there.%20Dave%20and%20I%20read%20in%20bed%20before%20going%20to%20sleep%20and%20the%20lamps%20on%20the%20bedside%20tables%20provide%20adequate%20light%20for%20us%20to%20do%20so.%20There%20are%20comfortable%20chairs%20in%20each%20room%20so%20you%20can%20sit%20and%20read%20if%20you%20want%20to%20and%20a%20space%20where%20I%20can%20sit%20and%20do%20my%20make%20up%20or%20dry%20my%20hair%20(the%20hair%20dryer%20is%20part%20of%20the%20room%E2%80%99s%20amenities).%20If%20you%20are%20not%20a%20TV%20fan%20there%20is%20a%20radio%20complete%20with%20CD%20player%20in%20the%20room.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAqua%20Marina%20Guest%20House%20Rooms%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20are%20dustbins%20in%20both%20the%20bedroom%20and%20the%20bathroom,%20a%20box%20of%20tissues%20in%20the%20bedroom%20and%20a%20laundry%20bag%20is%20provided%20as%20well%20as%20bathrobes%20and%20slippers.%20The%20bar%20fridge%20has%20milk%20and%20bottles%20of%20complimentary%20water%20which%20to%20me%20is%20a%20nice%20touch%20as%20I%20drink%20quite%20%20a%20lot%20of%20water%20at%20night,%20and%20I%20try%20not%20to%20drink%20tap%20water%20out%20of%20the%20area%20in%20which%20we%20live.%20There%20are%20also%20complimentary%20rusks,%20tea%20and%20coffee%20with%20a%20small%20kettle,%20cups,%20mugs,%20glasses%20and%20a%20corkscrew%20provided.%20I%20love%20that%20there%20is%20a%20suitcase%20stand%20so%20that%20the%20case%20is%20always%20out%20of%20the%20way%20and%20the%20cupboards%20are%20large%20enough%20to%20take%20a%20week%E2%80%99s%20worth%20of%20clothes%20with%20ease%20and%20has%20proper%20hangers.%20The%20cupboard%20%E2%80%98hides%E2%80%99%20the%20safe%20as%20also%20has%20mosquito%20repellent%20products%20in%20it%20which%20is%20a%20necessity%20in%20summer.%20Here%20you%20will%20also%20find%20the%20extra%20pillows%20and%20blankets.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAqua%20Marina%20Guest%20House%20Fruit%20Platter%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20first%20time%20we%20stayed%20the%20room%20we%20chose%20had%20only%20a%20shower,%20but%20the%20second%20time%20we%20had%20a%20shower%20and%20bath%20in%20our%20bathroom.%20The%20bathroom%20is%20fully%20equipped%20with%20hand%20lotion,%20hand%20cream,%20shower%20gel,%20shampoo,%20conditioner,%20body%20lotion,%20soap,%20cotton%20wool,%20ear%20buds,%20nail%20file,%20dental%20floss,%20toothpaste,%20sewing%20kit,%20shower%20cap,%20shaving%20kit,%20leather%20shoe%20wipes,%20shoe%20mitt%20and%20bubble%20bath.%20The%20showers%20are%20very%20nice%20and%20have%20an%20anti%20slip%20mat%20in%20them.%20The%20water%20pressure%20is%20good%20and%20the%20size%20of%20the%20shower%20is%20adequate.%20The%20only%20problem%20is%20the%20water%20temperature%20will%20change%20spontaneously%20if%20someone%20else%20in%20the%20house%20is%20using%20water.%20This%20is%20a%20simple%20problem%20to%20fix.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAqua%20Marina%20Guest%20House%20Breakfast%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20entire%20place%20is%20spotless%20and%20there%20is%20free%20wifi.%20Unfortunately%20the%20signal%20strength%20is%20not%20really%20good%20throughout%20the%20house%20and%20a%20booster%20would%20probably%20make%20a%20huge%20difference%20to%20this.%20Each%20room%20has%20an%20air%20conditioning%20unit%20which%20we%20have%20not%20made%20use%20of%20as%20we%20are%20used%20to%20the%20heat!%20In%20case%20you%20have%20forgotten%20your%20plugs%20at%20home%20there%20are%20multi%20plugs%20and%20euro%20plugs%20in%20each%20room.%20Breakfast%20is%20amazing%20and%20starts%20with%20a%20choice%20of%20fruit%20juices%20and%20a%20huge%20platter%20of%20fruit.%20The%20fruit%20is%20seasonal%20and%20so%20in%20winter%20the%20platter%20might%20be%20substituted%20with%20pancakes.%20There%20is%20yoghurt%20to%20go%20with%20the%20fruit%20if%20you%20want%20as%20well%20as%20a%20choice%20of%20brown%20or%20white%20toast.%20There%20is%20a%20nice%20selection%20of%20jams%20and%20you%20can%20choose%20which%20way%20you%20would%20like%20your%20eggs%20done.%20I%20would%20recommend%20scrambled%20as%20opposed%20to%20poached%20or%20fried.%20The%20main%20breakfast%20ingredients%20are%20kept%20in%20warmer%20drawer%20with%20the%20plates.%20Alida%20dishes%20up%20a%20generous%20breakfast%20of%20potatoes,%20mushrooms,%20sausage,%20bacon%20and%20tomato,%20together%20with%20the%20eggs.%20I%20am%20not%20that%20keen%20on%20the%20%E2%80%98shaky%20cheese%E2%80%99%20topping%20and%20must%20remember%20to%20ask%20Alida%20not%20to%20use%20it%20on%20our%20next%20visit.%20You%20will%20be%20given%20a%20choice%20of%20tea%20or%20coffee%20with%20your%20meal%20and%20the%20drinks%20are%20kept%20warm%20in%20the%20cutest%20%E2%80%98bags%E2%80%99%20I%20have%20seen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EContact%20them%20on%20+27%2044%20690%204677%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20I%20blogged:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETandy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETop%20of%20Page%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENo%20votes%20yet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlease%20wait...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
