Ingredients
- basic white bread dough
- 3/4 prt sunflower seeds roasted
- 1/4 x pine nuts roasted
- 6 x minced dry apricots
- 3 x crushed cardamon pods
Directions
- Last week I made a tasty loaf by adding about a cupful of lightly roasted seeds (3/4 sunflower, 1/4 pine nuts), about 6 minced up dry apricots and 3 crushed cardamons to my normal white bread recipe. I also used grade '0' (pasta type) flour but would guess which standard strong would do. Just before baking I brushed with lowfat milk and coated with white poppy seeds. This was lovely with cheese such as gooey ripe brie.
