Apple Walnut Cake Recipe

• 2 c. Sugar
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 4 c. Shredded unpeeled apples
• 2 c. Flour
• 1 tsp Baking soda
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1 tsp Grnd cloves
• 1/2 c. Raisins
• 3/4 c. Walnuts, minced
• 1 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
• 5 Tbsp. Flour
• 1 c. Lowfat milk
• 1 c. Powdered Sugar
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 1/2 c. Walnuts, minced
