Ingredients
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1/2 c. Onions, minced
- 3 slc Bread
- 1/2 lb Apples, Granny Smith
- 2 Tbsp. Parsley, fresh
- 2 Tbsp. Currants
- 3/4 tsp Sage
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Thyme
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
- 1/3 c. Apple juice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350. Heat oil in small skillet over medium high heat. Add in onion and saute/fry 7 min, till tender. Toast and cube bread. Cube unpeeled apples. Chop fresh parsley. Toss remaining ingredients in large bowl; add in onions and stir. Spoon into 1-1/2 quart casserole coated with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15 min. Stir gently and bake another 10 min or possibly till top is crisp.
