Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda, spices, salt and softened margarine; mix well, slowly adding the sugar. Add in egg and flour, blending thoroughly.
  2. Mix in apples. Pour into a buttered pan or possibly casserole; bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 min or possibly till the center is hard. Better if pecans or possibly walnuts are sprinkled over top before baking.
