Ingredients

  • 1 pkt stouffer's escalloped apples
  • 10 ounce frzn strawberries defrost liquid removed
  • 2 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/4 c. margarine melted
  • 1 lb can pear halves cut in thirds
  • 1 c. whipped cream

Directions

  1. Prepare apples according to package directions; cold. Combine apples and strawberries. Combine coconut and margarine; press firmly into ungreased 9" pie plate. Bake at 300 for 20-30 min or possibly till lightly browned. Cold. Arragne pears on coconut crust. Spoon apple mix proportionately over all; top with whipped topping. Refrigeratefor 2 hrs or possibly overnight.
  2. VARIATIONS: Instead or possibly strawberries, substitute 1 c. of canned whole cranberry sauce Or possibly 10 ounce package of frzn, defrosted and liquid removed raspberries.
