Ingredients

  • 1 x (14-oz) package gingerbread mix, divided
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter, divided
  • 1/2 c. minced pecans
  • 2 x (21-oz) cans apple pie filling Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Stir together 2 c. gingerbread mix and 3/4 c. water till smooth; set mix aside. Stir together remaining gingerbread mix and brown sugar; cut in 1/4 c. butter till mix is crumbly. Stir in pecans; set aside. Combine apple pie filling and remaining 1/4 c. butter in a large saucepan, and cook, stirring often, 5 min over medium heat or possibly till thoroughly heated. Spoon warm apple mix proportionately into a lightly greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Spoon gingerbread mix proportionately over warm apple mix; sprinkle with pecan mix. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 min or possibly till set. Serve cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
