Apple Curry Chicken Breasts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 x skinless boneless chicken breast halved
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 sm onion minced
  • 1 x apple peeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 tsp curry pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c. mango chutney
  • 1/2 c. peas, frzn
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

  1. 1. Brown chicken breasts halves in a tsp. of oil in a nonstick skillet for 8-10 min till golden brown. Remove from pan
  2. 2. Over medium heat, in 2 tsp. oil, cook onion, and apple till tender.
  3. 3. Stir in curry pwdr and salt cook 1 minute.
  4. 3. Stir in mango chutney, peas and water. Boil for one minute.
  5. 4. Serve over chicken breasts.
  6. Serving Ideas : With rice and green vegetable
  7. I love this recipe. You can make this as warm as your family likes but the sweet and spicy mix together very well. I've also used bottled chutney with very good results, but do not know nutritional contents.
