Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg
- 1 T melted butter
- 1 shredded apple
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Heat waffle iron. Put together flour, baking pwdr, sugar, salt and spices. Set aside. Put together lowfat milk, egg, butter, apple and vanilla. Add in dry ingredients. Stir till well moistened, but still lumpy. Pour about 1/2 cup onto greased, hot waffle iron. Bake till brown and crisp.
