  1. Cream shortening and sugar. Add in Large eggs, Amish batter and vanilla. Beat 2 min on medium speed. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa, baking soda, salt, flour and baking pwdr Add in flour mix to batter alternately with cool water. Beat 1 minute on medium speed. Fold in nuts by hand. Pour into greased and floured 9x12 pan. Bake at 375 F 30-40 min.
