American Woman Eggrolls

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. grnd beef (sirloin preferably)
  • 2 pkgs. egg roll wraps
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 c. celery
  • 1 large bell pepper (red, yellow or possibly green)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers (optional)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • seasoned salt (to taste)
  • garlic pwdr or possibly salt (to taste)
  • warm sauce (green or possibly red) optional
  • vegetable oil or possibly butter

Directions

  1. Heat up vegetable oil in deep fryer or possibly large saucepan. Begin by using vegetable oil or possibly butter in frying pan. Add in onion, celery and all peppers, cooking till al dente.
  2. Add in beef and seasonings to taste. If you like, add in warm sauce. Saute/fry till brown, then set aside. Add in a c. of water and begin to make egg rolls. Take egg roll wrap and moisten the sides with water, add in a large tsp. of meat to the center and seal.
  3. Cook till golden brown, turning to cook all sides.
  4. Repeat till finished. Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
  5. Serve with cool beer.
