- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup Amaretto or other almond-flavored liqueur
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- For the topping:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- about 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted*
