Almond Toffee Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Unsifted flour
  • 1/2 c. Confectioners sugar
  • 3/4 c. Cool margarine, or possibly butter
  • 14 ounce Sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 1 x Egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 6 x Lowfat milk chocolate covered toffee bars, in small pcs
  • 1 c. Slivered almonds

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 if using glass dish)
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, combine flour and icing sugar, cut in margarine till crumbly. Press firmly on the bottom of 13X9 in baking pan. Bake 15 min.
  3. 3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine condensed lowfat milk, egg, and almond extract
