Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Slivered Almonds, Toasted
  • 1 x Clove Garlic, Crushed
  • 8 ounce Tomato Sauce, 1 cn
  • 1 tsp Red Chiles, Grnd
  • 1 c. Onion, Finely Minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper, Grnd

Directions

  1. Place almonds in food processor workbowl fitted with steel blade or possibly in blender container; cover and process till finely grnd. Cook onion and garlic in oil over medium heat, stirring frequently, till onion is tender.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except almonds. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer 1 minute stirring constantly; stir in almonds. Serve warm.
  3. Makes about 1 3/4 c. of sauce.
