Ingredients

  • 1 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 c. Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 2 x Unsweetened chocolate
  • 11/2 c. Confectioners sugar
  • 1 x Egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Directions

  1. Ea CHOCOLATE ICING 1/2 c butter CAKE: Cream butter till fluffy. Add in sugar and cream well. Add in Large eggs one at a time. Beat well. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt together. Add in alternating with lowfat milk ending with flour. Beat on low speed. Add in vanilla.
  2. Pour into greased, floured pans.
  3. Makes three layers. Bake at 350for 30 min. Test for doneness.
  4. CHOCOLATE ICING: Heat butter and chocolate in double boiler. Remove from heat. Blend sugar, egg, salt and vanilla into chocolate mix. Beat till icing is creamy. Double for threelayers.
