90 Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3 T sugar
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 - 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • Melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat in 3 tbsp sugar, salt, 2 tbsp butter, egg and 1 cup flour. Stir in additional flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board. Knead about 2 min till smooth. Roll to 18 by 9 inch. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up like a jelly roll. Cut into 12 equal pcs. Arrange cut side down in a greased 8 inch round pan. Rise. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 min. Frost with confectioner's sugar.
