1 1/2 Minute Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 T cocoa
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 c. white Karo
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 c. minced nuts

Directions

  1. Put together above ingredients (except for vanilla and nuts) in saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly till butter is melted. Turn heat high. When fudge is in full boil, start timing. Cook for 1 1/2 min.Remove from heat. Beat till fudge begins to thicken. Add in vanilla and nuts and pour into buttered platter. Let cool and cut. Makes about 2 dozen squares.
  2. P.S. Leave cocoa out and you will have vanilla fudge.
