My son came across a problem and here is how he solved it. He had rubbed olive oil on the peppers to ROAST BIG NO NO>>> they smoked up the whole room as that is what olive oil does on high temperatures. REMEDY! USE VEGETABLE OIL. Works perfectly. Then when you go to prepare the peppers after roasted use a good grade olive oil to mix them in!

Good Idea, I usually just go down a bit with the temperature. I don't like when it is too hot and the skin burns, it gives a slightly bitter flavor to it.
