Can I bake Bread in loaves in the Nuwave?

I have done toast, muffins and corn bread in my Nuwave but can I bake a regular loaf of bread that is a yeast-driven recipe in it? Are there any precautions or different settings that I need to do? I know on some recipes I use the extender ring and set the power level down, but I wondered if I could as I used to bake many loaves of my own bread in a regular oven.

I bake bread in my NuWave every weekend; however, when I use a bread pan I can bake only one loaf at a time. I use the high power setting and bake the bread for 30 minutes. So far every loaf has turned out just as I wanted it to. Sure beats heating and using the regular oven.

When you bake the bread do u use the loaf pans? Do u put parchment paper over --do u put on bottom of oven or 1" rack--thank you---

Please respond to this!!! I live in a motorcoach and would love to do my bread without using the big oven!

Hi Merryann, I live in my motorhome too with the crappy little propane oven that I will not buy propane for, so my NuWave is my stove/oven/broiler/stovetop. If it cannot be made in the NUWAVE I am totally lost. I use my microwave for steaming veggies in a z\iplock bag and have found that spaghetti noodles cook to perfection too, but I am trying to "fine tune" the NUWAVE because my electricity has dropped so much. PLEASE ALL YOU WHO HAVE A NUWAVE RESPOND!

Well everyone....stayed tuned because I am making bread today and I intend to bake it in my Nuwave! I will let everyone know how it turns out in about 4 hours from now! Woohoo! Love my Nuwave!

OK! The results are in! I made regular white bread this morning and baked it in my Nuwave oven. I put the rack on the lowest level and programmed it for 30 minutes. Went back to check on it and after only 8 minutes of cooking it was getting pretty dark so I reprogrammed it to cook at power level 6 for 25 minutes more and it turned out perfect! Woohoo!
