A Metric recipe is not much different than an American version...
1) You keep all the cup and spoon measurements - but you use Metric cups and spoons not American cup and spoons.
2) You substitute 500 g for every one pound as your formula
3) You will need to convert all lengths to cm and temperatures to °C
You will end up with about 10% more then what an 'American' recipe because the Metric Kitchen unit are 10% larger. vie Metric cup 250 mL vs American cup 237 mL
So it is not all that different, and not hard to use Metric in the Kitchen.
