Struggling with Multiple Food Allergies, Recipe(s) Needed

Michelle Hillier June 3, 2010

Hi,

I've recently (this past year) been diagnosed with multiple (barley, rice, wheat, cow's milk, goat's milk, egg white, egg yolk, soy / soya, cola nut, casava / tapioca, mango, & perhaps a couple more that the test can't test for...).

I need a bread machine recipe ( a good one would be nice) if anyone has one that excludes the above... Any other fave recipes would be VERY well received, too!!!

Thank you very much!!!

Re: Struggling with Multiple Food Allergies, Recipe(s) Needed

Sorry, I can't help you with the recipe. I am just starting to research this stuff myself. I do know that a good alternative to cow/goat milk is coconut or almond milk. You might want to check out jjvirgin.com. JJ Virgin is a health/nutrition expert whose book, The Virgin Diet, was recently released. She talks about removing 7 foods from your diet that are associated with allergies and food sensitivities (even if you haven't been diagnosed): Eggs, Gluten, Dairy, Corn, Soy, Sugar (including Artificial sugars) and Peanuts. She might have some links to recipes on her site that might help. I have read her book, but haven't really explored the site for recipes yet, but maybe. She is also on facebook, there could be some information to help there also. Hope this is helpful.
