We like this fresh, fragrant bread much better than the frozen garlic bread from the grocer’s freezer! Your family will too- the smell is amazing! I buy my Foccacia at the bakery in my local Superstore (labeled “Simple Foccacia”). At only 1.50 for a large loaf, it’s already a great bargain, but on Saturday and Sunday you can find it on the reduced bakery item rack, still fresh, for .90¢. Talk about a bargain!


  • 1 loaf simple Foccacia
  • 1-2 tbsp. olive oil
  • kosher salt, or regular salt to taste
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, leaves removed from stem and chopped, or 1/4 tsp. crushed rosemary
