A mouth watering fall apart tender pork rib roast slowly baked with apples and onions. Ideal for Sunday dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 kg pork rib roast (with bones)
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 2 apples (about 300 g), sliced
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 300 ml apple cider
