About me

My cooking style is easy, simple, doesn't take all day and doesn't need a ton of spices, wines, and the typical things that are not used often. I enjoy trying new things. But we do basic meals most often. Which means I find I can't keep a lot of fancy cooking items on hand because they good bad before I need them again. During the winter months we have a lot of time but much less money due to being seasonal workers. In the summer months we have little time and cannot eat at the same time. I am home by 5pm, have my dinner and am in bed. My son doesn't get home until midnight. So if I can cook something, it must be something that can still be good at midnight when he gets home. So we eat out a lot during the summer. I am tired of it. I want simple things to cook that will be good for both of us at our different dinner times.
