Hello, Kathy! My sister called from Texas this morning, as my 91 year old mother went into a surgery, and told me mom was singing the West Virginia Fight Song. W VA is very close to my heart, having spent so many summers of my childhood and youth there with grandparents, my uncle and aunt. So you can take the woman out of the mountains, but you cannot take the Mountaineer out of the woman, to paraphrase. I am delighted to be the first to welcome you to C-E-S. I've been a member for just over a year and have found that I get far more out of it than I put in. So many talented and sharing chefs and cooks - most of whom love to communicate. So don't be shy. Try recipes and leave reviews and comments and expect the same in return. Don't hesitate to ask questions or for suggestions. Join lots of groups and try new dishes.
