About me

The Bodega Seafood Art & Wine Festival, begun 14 years ago, is a labor of love for myself and my partner, photographer Michael Ecton. We wanted to create an event which focuses on the bounty of the area, and this festival has become the perfect vehicle. We are very proud of the juried art and craft marketplace, the 3 stages of awesome entertainment, the wine and microbrew tastings offering up over 2 dozen wineries and 15 breweries, and then there is the food...Crab cakes, coconut shrimp, cedar plank salmon, albacore skewers, seafood gumbo, shrimp cocktail, and so much more they cannot be completely listed here. There is also a plethora of non-seafood edibles as well, and of course, delicious sweets and other delights. In my other life I am, in fact, a Weight Watcher leader, having lost 80 lbs with them almost 10 years ago. I have found that I enjoy eating as much as I ever have but my tastes have changed completely, and I now crave healthy food! So my recipes focus on easy and light ways to cook one of my favorite foods...fish!
