Zayne will be turning two months old in a few days, and here I am writing a blog post about how we celebrated her first month. Hahaha! I know, I know. I am such an efficient mommy blogger. My very clingy Little Kolokoy is not giving me the option to do other chores aside from feeding her, singing lullabies to her, changing her diapers, bathing her and being her favorite bed. But a part of me really wanted to document her milestones here in my blog. She is growing up really fast, and I want to have something tangible to look back to.

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wanted%20to%20take%20snapshots%20of%20Zayne.%20I%20dressed%20her%20in%20a%20pink%20onesie%20and%20pink%20mittens,%20both%20of%20which%20were%20gifts%20from%20her%20Ninang%20Joie.%20Hihihi!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHi%20there!%20=)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENanay,%20I%E2%80%99m%20sleepy%20na%20po!%20@_@%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAside%20from%20our%20simple%20feast,%20we%20also%20had%20cake%20for%20Zayne!%20I%20asked%20Joie,%20owner%20of%20My%20Sweets%E2%80%99%20Haven,%20to%20make%20Zayne%E2%80%99s%20monthly%20cakes.%20I%20wanted%20her%20cakes%20to%20be%20simple%20%E2%80%93%20no%20specific%20themes,%20and%20definitely%20no%20fondants.%20I%20just%20asked%20her%20to%20make%20a%20round%20chocolate%20cake%20with%20a%20number%201%20on%20top%20made%20from%20colored%20chocolates.%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20need%20to%20tell%20you%20that%20the%20cake%20was%20delicious!%20Wala%20siyang%20gawa%20na%20hindi%20masarap.%20Promise!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUmaanggulo%20ka%20pa,%20Anak?!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHaaaay!%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20even%20eat%20MY%20OWN%20cake!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHmp!%20Wait%20%E2%80%98till%20I%E2%80%99m%20old%20enough%20to%20attack%20Ninang%20Joie%E2%80%99s%20cakes!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhateverrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99ve%20heard%20mothers%20whine%20about%20how%20their%20kids%20grow%20up%20too%20fast.%20I%20know%20it%E2%80%99s%20already%20a%20clich%C3%A9,%20but%20now%20that%20I%20have%20my%20own%20child,%20I%20finally%20know%20how%20it%20feels.%20Zayne%20is%20growing%20up%20so%20fast,%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20even%20keep%20up!%20She%20was%20only%205%20pounds%2010%20ounces%20when%20I%20gave%20birth%20to%20her.%20Two%20weeks%20after,%20she%20was%20already%20weighing%20more%20than%207%20pounds!%20I%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20prepared%20to%20see%20her%20transform%20in%20just%20a%20span%20of%20one%20month!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20photos%20were%20taken%20just%20a%20few%20days%20after%20we%20were%20discharged%20from%20the%20hospital.%20She%20was%20soooooo%20tiny!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20that%20motherhood%20would%20change%20me.%20I%20thought%20that%20waiting%20for%20four%20years%20for%20a%20child%20would%20make%20me%20fully%20prepared%20for%20the%20drastic%20changes,%20but%20I%20was%20wrong.%20During%20the%20first%20few%20days,%20I%20found%20myself%20crying.%20I%20got%20frustrated%20when%20she%20would%20not%20stop%20crying.%20I%20got%20easily%20irritated%20when%20people%20would%20give%20me%20unsolicited%20advice%20about%20how%20to%20raise%20my%20own%20daughter.%20I%20cried%20each%20time%20I%20would%20feel%20that%20my%20love%20and%20attention%20for%20her%20were%20not%20enough.%20But%20as%20my%20daughter%20gains%20weight,%20I%20also%20gain%20more%20knowledge%20on%20how%20to%20take%20care%20of%20her.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20schedules%20are%20always%20off.%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20shower%20on%20time.%20I%E2%80%99m%20always%20in%20a%20hurry%20on%20everything%20%E2%80%93%20eating,%20brushing%20my%20teeth%20and%20even%20pooping!%20My%20wrists%20hurt%20like%20crazy.%20Days%20pass%20that%20I%20only%20use%20my%20hands%20to%20comb%20my%20newly-showered%20hair.%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20the%20time%20to%20blog%20and%20to%20read%20a%20book.%20Most%20of%20the%20time,%20I%20smell%20like%20poop%20and%20spoiled%20milk.%20And%20my%20list%20goes%20on.%20But%20despite%20the%20things%20that%20I%20have%20been%20missing,%20I%20enjoy%20being%20needed%20by%20my%20daughter.%20I%20enjoy%20the%20limitless%20hugs%20and%20kisses.%20I%20love%20looking%20at%20her%20every%20single%20time,%20whether%20she%E2%80%99s%20happy%20or%20grumpy.%20I%20will%20forever%20remember%20how%20hard%20Boyet%20and%20I%20laughed%20when%20we%20first%20discovered%20that%20she%20has%20dimples%20while%20she%20was%20pooping%20and%20how%20she%20sprayed%20poop%20on%20Tatay%20while%20he%20was%20changing%20her%20diaper.%20(Yeah,%20our%20world%20now%20revolves%20around%20poop!%20Hahaha!)%20Her%20accomplishments%20and%20milestones%20are%20also%20mine.%20I%20take%20pride%20at%20how%20she%20can%20effortlessly%20lift%20her%20head%20or%20how%20she%20continuously%20tries%20to%20lie%20on%20her%20tummy%20when%20she%20was%20just%20less%20than%20two%20weeks%20old.%20Her%20kicks%20only%20prove%20the%20same%20strength%20she%20manifested%20as%20she%20battled%20with%20me%20through%20a%20difficult%20pregnancy.%20So%20I%20guess%20doing%20this%20monthly%20thingy%20is%20not%20only%20a%20celebration%20for%20Zayne.%20It%20is%20a%20celebration%20of%20our%20teamwork%20%E2%80%93%20Zayne%E2%80%99s%20strength%20as%20she%20grows%20and%20our%20strength%20as%20parents.%20It%E2%80%99s%20not%20only%20a%20celebration%20of%20her%20milestones%20as%20a%20baby,%20but%20also%20ours%20as%20parents.%20%5E_%5E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAll%20opinions%20expressed%20here%20are%20my%20own.%20Just%20because%20something%20worked%20for%20me%20does%20not%20necessarily%20mean%20that%20it%20will%20work%20for%20you%20too,%20the%20same%20way%20that%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20post%20selfies%20just%20because%20everybody%20else%20is%20doing%20it.%20Everything%20on%20this%20blog,%20unless%20oth
