Directions

  1. In large bowl, combine flours, baking pwdr, soda and salt thoroughly. Make a well in the center. In a small bowl, put buttermilk, molasses and oil. Stir till molasses has thinned and mixed in. Pour into well. Stir just sufficient to combine; turn into greased loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3 inch). Bake in 350 degree oven for 40-50 min. Remove from pan to cold. Note: To make sour lowfat milk add in 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar to 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk.
