Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. hot water
  • 1 env. yeast
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour

Directions

  1. Mix yeast with water. Add in flour, sugar and salt. Beat together. Add in egg and oil, beat till blended. Stir in wheat flour till soft dough forms. Turn dough onto floured surface. Knead 5 min or possibly till dough is soft and smooth. Place dough in greased bowl. Cover, let rise in hot place till doubled in bulk; about 30 min. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease pan. Bake 10 min. Add in sauce, etc, and bake as usual.
